Table for 3 please!?

Let’s face it, just the thought of going out with kids is stressful.

Honestly staying at home sounds better than wrangling with a toddler over juice in public bro, I can’t even hold you up.

But this is our life now.

So we adapt. Luckily for us times are changing too and there are a couple companies out here making drinks with friends not so sucky.

First Up: Urbanrest Brewing Company Ferndale, MI

Drink with the girls, AND THE BABY!?

This some 2020 ish right here.

Urbanrest has lots of tasty drinks to offer including brews, kombuchas, lemonades and rosés. They offer charcuterie (or babyuterie, see photo below) for snacks BUT I actually found this place because they partner with food trucks quite often. Be sure to check their Instagram @urbanrestbrewing to see their line up before you go.

UrbanRest is perfect because it’s so versatile. It’s great for hanging out with friends and bringing the kids along because it’s spacious and they also offer games (in non Rona times) for the kids to play.

I highly recommend UrbanRest for a date night or hangout, it’s something you have to experience. A place where parents can unwind after a long day and not feel the side eye of the rest of the restaurant-you need that. And I know you need that because we are parents- we always need a drink. If you go, I promise the whole family won’t be disappointed.
